A huge congratulations to Julie Erickson on being named 2019 SaWUSA Guest Traveler of the Year!
Julie is from Dunwoody, GA. She is the mom of Grant Erickson, a U14 boy’s basketball athlete who just traveled with SaWUSA on our 2019 United World Games trip. Julie also traveled with SaWUSA with her older son Ian in 2018 to the Euro Basketball Cup and in 2017 to the United World Games.
We are especially thankful to Julie for going above and beyond to help SaWUSA connect with two coaches from the Atlanta area that did a great job on the trip. She also was instrumental in connecting us with some great athletes from the Atlanta area that helped us win the Silver Medal in the U14 division.
Julie was also a great asset to our staff while abroad; showing a great passion and commitment to the well-being of all our STUDENTathletes. We appreciate her greatly!
The 5th Annual Guest Traveler of the Year award is our highest honor given to our guests. You can read more about it below…
About the SaWUSA Guest Traveler of the Year
This ‘Trip Mom’ (or Dad) makes the trip better for all travelers. They are great at ‘going with the flow’ and handling the ups and downs of International group travel. During the trip they help the SaWUSA staff care for each traveler by going above and beyond to assist other travelers, especially those traveling without parents. Most importantly, they make the trip more enjoyable just by being along for the ride.
