The second day of the Europe Lowlands Softball Tour was an amazing success.

The group enjoyed a canal cruise of the “canal city” of Amsterdam.

NOTE: Amsterdam has 60 miles of canals, 90 islands, and 1500 bridges. This is essential because as called the “low country” 25% of the city is below sea level and half of the city is at or near sea level.

Then they played their first Softball game vs the Pirates. SaWUSA was victorious in a close battle, winning 5-4.

After the game it was a team spaghetti meal.

Now the team is off to the city center once again to visit the historic Anne Frank house.
