A huge congratulations to Tre’Von Williams on being named 2018 SaWUSA Student-Athlete of the Year!
Trevon is from Johnstown, PA and is a rising sophomore at Penn State- Dubois. Trevon competed on SaWUSA’s U19 East team that took 9th place at the United World Games in Austria this summer. He also traveled with SaWUSA in 2017 helping his U18 team win the Silver Medal at the Euro Basketball Cup in Spain.
He is the youngest of six children of Terry Sr. and Anita Williams of Johnstown, both of whom played basketball in high school and encouraged their four sons (Tyrell, Travis, Terry Jr. and Tre’von) and two daughters (Tracie and Tierra) to play as well. Tre’Von plans to return to Penn State-DuBois campus in the fall to continue his studies and play another season for the Nittany Lions. After completing coursework at DuBois, Williams plans to transfer to the University Park campus to finish his undergraduate degree in athletic training, and try out for a spot on the Lions’s team roster.
